Founded in 1976, we began by helping homeowners and businesses from throughout central Virginia.
After being acquired in 2013, Stereo Types has since expanded to deliver that same level of service and support throughout Virginia, as well as the entire Eastern Seaboard & Caribbean. CEO
Chad Shell
Chad Shell acquired Stereo Types from its Founder, Greg Heimens in 2013, where Chad continues to use his passion for making music & movies sound the way the producers intended while also making complicated technology easy to use—delivering personalized A/V & tech solutions that bring harmony to every home and business.
General Manager
Kali Bohannon
Kali joined Stereo Types in 2022, starting out part time, handling handling the books. She quickly moved up the ranks eventually, taking the general manager positon in 2024; where she now oversees client satisfaction, as well as most financial related activeties.
Buyer
Lindsay Heath
Lindsay joined Stereo Types in 2015, where he worked part time assisting technicians and in the warehouse. As a result of Stereo Types rapid growth, he moved to a full time positon handing logistics and assisting with Purchasing. In 2023, he was promoted to the Buyer role, handling all procurement & overseeing logistics for all Stereo Types regions.
